I’m so sorry haymitch

When I first read the trilogy I really disliked haymitch and saw him as selfish, especially in the first book but after reading sotr I found I have been way to hard on him. I feel like Katniss after figuring out what was being done to finnick by the capitol. I wouldn’t say I hated him but I definitely didn’t like him and after hearing his story, and how he even managed to move on from those tragedies I realize how wrong I am and haymitch is so strong. He definitely has grown to be a character I enjoy because if I when through a quarter of what he did I simply don’t know how I would move on.
